Saws still buzzed, drills still rattled and sewing machines still hummed as Scody sat in the waiting area outside the workshop.

Emerging from the shop with the prosthesis, Daniel Napp led Scody into a private room to fit him.

Scody nodded and smiled, and Napp walked out, back to work again.

The imbalance was hurting Scody’s back.

He placed his hands on Scody’s hips to assess the alignment.
