Krysten Ritter, whose second novel is out now, loves writing characters who are ‘unpredictable, a little bad, a little wounded.’

With her second novel, ‘Retreat,’ actor Krysten Ritter delivers another thriller fronted by a gutsy, feisty female protagonist.

She had written “70, maybe 100” pages when her agent introduced her to Jamieson, who cottoned to Ritter’s story immediately and offered suggestions on her pages.

“It was exhilarating and energetic,” says Ritter of collaborating with Jamieson.
