Allen’s attorneys wrote that “absolutely nothing, links Richard Allen to Odinism or any religious cult.”

Mr. Allen, of Delphi, has no connections to Odinism, according to his attorneys.

Murder suspect Richard Allen’s defense team argued that victims Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, had their lives ended in 2017 by members of a pagan Norse religion and White nationalist group called “Odinism.”

“Members of a pagan Norse religion, called Odinism, hijacked by white nationalists, ritualistically sacrificed Abigail Williams and Liberty German,” the attorneys state said in the filing.

The defense filing claims possible “Odinism signatures” were left at the crime scene, but that investigators abandoned that angle.
