I was walking back to my hotel one night in the rain when I came across this taxi driver – he was waiting for a couple to leave a love hotel.

“Hong Kong has never done anything proper to honour his legacy. They had the chance to rebuild his former home into a museum, but instead it became a seedy love hotel.”

The love hotel has long been closed.

“Then your boyfriend takes you to a love hotel,” she said.
