The one major threat to their mission is a nasty, aggressive little fox that follows its predatory instincts until an act of kindness changes his thinking.

“It’s a clever joke. Your Baba Haji made it from a common phrase. It says, ‘The thing that turns a lion into a little fox is need.’

“His cheeks were pink and high and his hair was a ruddy blond. … In fact, he looked like a fox, a nice little fox. … The boy was young and curious.”

I realize he wasn’t even born yet in the early ’90s, but certainly somebody older and more of a TV addict could have warned him by telling him about a little Fox show from that decade called, “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.”

“I'm very tired. She has aged me about 10 years and I had to give up my dream job because this little fox came along but it's all been worth it to see her so happy and healthy.”
