Warren, Earl
- A political leader and judge of the twentieth century. Warren was governor of California before being named chief justice of the Supreme Court in 1953, and he served on the Court until 1969. His time as chief justice was marked by boldness in interpreting the Constitution ; the 鈥淲arren Court鈥 often brought the Constitution to the support of the disadvantaged.
